How to change the Powered by CS-Cart – Shopping Cart Software link:

Step 1: Open bottom.tpl file located in the skins/[CUSTOMER_ACTIVE_SKIN]/customer directory of CS-Cart installation, where [CUSTOMER_ACTIVE_SKIN] is an active skin of your storefront.

Step 2: Locate the following code:

Step 3: Login to administration panel and click on the Languages link in the Content tab.

Step 4: Enter the copyright_shopping_cart into the Search for pattern input field under the Translations tab and click on the Search button on the page.

Step 5: Edit the value of the found language variable (for example, replace as per your choice) and click on the Save button to save the changes.

Requirements

CS cart isn't environment hungry script and doesn't demand much of specifics on Linux boxes. It runs pretty well with shared hosting as well dedicated and relatively easy to handle in small hosting companies too. Based on LAMP it's always advised to host CS cart on Linux platform. Oddly enough CS cart can work on Windows too however it will be little tricky to get it working in right order because of some file permissions and secondly it wont be as secure as it will on Linux.
